Pet Portrait Studio Sessions
What could be better than treating yourself or your significant other than some special portraits with the furever friend on film? That’s rhetorical, it’s the best gift ever!
30 minute session
1 roll of film used, 10 images
Location: Parker & Stone, 10/71-77 Albert St, Osborne Park WA 6017
Session Checklist:
Please ensure pups have been exercised and have gone to the bathroom prior if possible.
Bring their favourite treats (bring more than one type in case they get bored if possible) and toys. We need things that they love to help focus their attention but nothing they’ll get too worked up about.
If they have issues relaxing, funny about hard floors or you have more than one pet being shot at a time, their bed might help as a familiar, comfortable place to use to keep them still. I don’t need them sitting for long but the few seconds help.
Don’t forget any props or outfits! Tell a story about your pet, dress up in a theme or era, get silly with outfits, get those holiday or special event cards done and checked off your list, or just wear your Sunday best.
We have a few backdrops options, some are bigger/smaller than others. What may be used will be determined by how big your pet is, how many of them and how many people. You may choose from the following, choose wisely as you only have time for one:
White/Grey - 3 x 6 m (suitable for all)
Pink/Purple - 3 x 3 m (suitable 1-2 human + 1 pet or 2 pets)
Mid Grey - 3 x 3 m (suitable 1-2 human + 1 pet or 2 pets)
Dark Blue - 2 x 3 m (suitable 1-2 human + 1 pet or 2 pets)
Dark Grey/Black Speckled - 3 x 4 (suitable 1-2 human + 1 pet or 2 pets)
Galaxy - 2.4 x 1.8 m (suitable for 1-2 human + small pets)
Red vintage curtain - 2 x 2 m (suitable for 1 human + small pets)
Terms & Conditions:
You must arrive 15 minutes before your session starts. If you are late to your session then we can not extend it beyond the agreed time slot, it will be time lost on your behalf.
All animal must be leashed or caged prior to the session.
Despite how much we love them, our pets are still animals. They don’t always understand things, can get easily overwhelmed or even bored. I can not force an animal to do anything they don’t want to do and the animal’s wellbeing is always first. I will however work with the animal and their personality as best as I can. It is the responsibility of the owners to know whether or not their pet will be okay being brought into a studio environment when deciding to book in a session. I have the right to stop the session if I feel like an animal or person is at risk.
If you can not make it to your session due to illness, an accident or an act of God then you may rebook your session at a later date. The booking fee for studio hire is $45. Any notice that is less than 24 hour however will require an additional fee of $45 to cover the costs of rebooking of the studio. Losses from bookings due to late notice cancellations or no-shows are non refundable.
If I am no longer able to commit to the session due to illness, an accident or an act of God then I will do my best to rebook the session for another date suitable for all parties. You will not be charged any additional fees for the rebooking.
I may use any images on socials and for promotional usage.
