 FAQs

  • Analogue (British English) / Analog (American English)
    Analogue technology not only signifies the measuring instruments but it signifies everything that is not digital. The analogue technology does not involve any electronic representation of numbers. Old film cameras and cassette recorders are the best examples of analogue technology.

  • Yes, this is my niche. Not only photography wise but also in regards to video. The current formats available are;

    ◉ Photography: 35mm, 120/medium format, 3D Wigglegrams and peel-apart film

    ◉ Video: VHS-C, Super 8 and 16mm

    I am capable of shooting digital if equipment is provided however I’m no expert.

  • It’s simple, the difference is the size of the negative. 35mm is what most people are familiar with. 120 film, also called medium format, is more or less double the size. This means the photo size is bigger but the quality is sharper. However what we gain in quality we lose in how many shots we can take on one roll. 35mm is generally 24 or 36 shots whilst medium format is 10 or 15 shots, depending on what camera is used. Hence why it is more expensive to shoot medium format as a shoot may require us to use more rolls.
